PATIENT CARE / LOS ANGELES

Complex & unresolved symptoms

Time to put the pieces together. A comprehensive evaluation for adults whose symptoms have remained difficult to explain.

Start with the whole history

When symptoms involve several parts of the body, it can be difficult to see how the pieces relate. You may have useful test results and specialist opinions, yet still feel unsure about what to do next.

At Regenera Medical, Dr. Elroy Vojdani begins with a detailed account of your experience. The purpose is to organize the information, consider potential explanations, and develop a practical plan for the questions that remain.

Who may benefit from a comprehensive review

  • Adults with persistent symptoms affecting daily life despite an initial medical evaluation.
  • People with several diagnoses who want help understanding how their care plans fit together.
  • Patients looking for a sustained clinical relationship and a careful discussion of testing and treatment options.

This service is not a substitute for urgent assessment or for specialist evaluation when symptoms point to a particular condition. The team can discuss whether the practice is an appropriate place to begin.

What happens during the evaluation

The review brings together a symptom timeline, relevant records, medications and supplements, previous responses to treatment, and your current priorities. Sleep, nutrition, activity, and other aspects of daily life are considered in the context of your medical history.

A reassuring result can be valuable even when it does not explain every symptom. Further testing is considered when it can help resolve a specific question or change a clinical decision. The objective is to build an understandable plan, with priorities and a way to assess progress.

Prepare for a useful first conversation

  • Write a short timeline of when symptoms began and major changes since then.
  • Gather relevant laboratory results, imaging reports, and specialist summaries.
  • List current medications and supplements, including doses when known.
  • Identify the two or three ways your symptoms most affect your life.

The team will explain how to provide records through the appropriate intake process.

Questions before you begin

Can I inquire if my routine blood tests were normal?

Yes. Normal results can be reassuring and still leave questions to address. A consultation considers what those tests assessed, your symptoms, and whether another evaluation is warranted.

Will you find one underlying cause?

Not every illness has a single identifiable cause. Some people have several contributing conditions; others continue to have uncertainty even after a thorough evaluation.

What if I need another specialist?

Dr. Vojdani can recommend further specialist assessment when appropriate. Existing medical care remains part of the plan.
