ELROY VOJDANIMD, IFMCP · PHYSICIAN & RESEARCHER

PHYSICIAN / RESEARCHER / EDUCATOR

Elroy Vojdani, MD, IFMCP

Physician, researcher, and founder of Regenera Medical. Bringing a detailed understanding of immune health to the care of people with complex, persistent symptoms.

Where emerging science becomes better medicine

Dr. Elroy Vojdani founded Regenera Medical in Los Angeles to offer patients the time and attention a complex medical history deserves. His clinical interests include autoimmunity, chronic inflammation, and persistent symptoms following infections.

His approach begins with listening: when symptoms started, how they have changed, what has already been investigated, and what matters most in daily life. Existing diagnoses and specialist recommendations form part of that picture. Testing is considered in the context of the individual, with attention to whether a result can meaningfully guide care.

Medical training and scientific work

Dr. Vojdani earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP). He is the founder of Regenera Medical and a co-author of more than 25 scientific articles.

His co-authored publications explore immune responses, infection-related autoimmunity, environmental influences on immune function, and interactions between the gut and immune system. The research page links directly to selected publication records and explains their findings and limitations.

Who may find this approach helpful

The practice may be a fit for adults who want a more comprehensive review of persistent symptoms or additional support alongside care for a diagnosed condition. Areas of focus include:

A thorough evaluation may identify several contributing factors, or clarify which questions remain unanswered. Treatment recommendations are individualized; no single test or protocol can explain every complex illness.

A collaborative approach

Care can include attention to nutrition, sleep, activity tolerance, medications, and other factors relevant to your history. Recommendations are discussed in terms of their purpose, evidence, potential risks, and how progress will be assessed.

Your primary care physician and specialists remain important members of your medical team. Regenera’s evaluation complements their work, with referrals or coordination when another specialty is better suited to a particular concern.
